Shaker Painting’s Safety Vision:
Our vision for safety at Shaker Painting is to foster a culture where every team member is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of themselves, their colleagues, and the people they share the jobsite with. We envision a workplace where safety practices are integrated seamlessly into every project, fostering a proactive approach to hazard identification and risk mitigation. Through our commitment to safety, proactive measures, and open communication, we aim to achieve an injury-free workplace where every individual returns home safely every day.
What to Expect from Shaker Painting:
- Strict Adherence to OSHA Regulations: We require all our project managers to be OSHA 30 Certified, ensuring they are well-versed in general worksite safety, understand workers' rights, and employer responsibilities, among other crucial topics.
- Weekly Job Safety Analysis: Our Project Managers conduct weekly Job Safety Analysis to assess and mitigate potential risks and hazards on each job site.
- Daily Safety Huddles: Our Project Managers lead daily safety huddles covering a wide range of topics, from ladder safety to the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and slip and fall prevention.
- Proactive Safety Measures: During monthly meetings, our team discusses safety goals and responsibilities, general health and safety guidelines, and to remain proactive, we develop plans for potential hazards. For example, we have a Hazard Communication Plan, a Fall Protection Plan, and a Scaffold Safety Plan, so our team is prepared for the appropriate actions and responses in the event a risk is encountered on the job.
- Advanced Safety Certifications: Shaker Painting is Summit Safety Certified! We achieved this certification by meeting rigorous guidelines, including constructing a written safety plan, mandatory safety meetings, a training syllabus for all new hires, and maintaining a plan to sustain company safety culture. - Comprehensive Insurance Coverage: Shaker Painting understands that managing risk is a critical part of any business operation. That’s why we carry a minimum of $2 million dollars in general liability insurance in addition to workers compensation, umbrella, and automotive insurance.
At Shaker Painting, safety is always a priority, and our aim is to follow safe, consistent, and predictable processes that produce exceptional results, ensuring that every project is completed safely and efficiently. It is our promise to our customers and employees to maintain this safety culture on the job and in the office at all times. Working with Shaker Painting ensures you are in safe hands.
