Are you looking for a commercial painter to take your project across the finish line?
Especially when you work in the HOA or property management industry, your projects often have multiple variables to consider, including trades to coordinate, timelines to manage, and the overarching budget that runs through them all.
At Shaker Painting, we put our specialized painting experience to work for our clients, smoothing the process wherever we can.
As a case in point, let’s take a closer look at a project we just finished in Denver’s eclectic River North Art District.
Painting New Construction in the River North Art District
This luxury apartment building stretches upward 7 floors, and includes diversely-sized units, amenities, and a parking garage. The location really couldn’t be better either, tucked in the heart of Denver while also being right next door to Coors Field and Lodo.
We were invited to paint and hang custom wallcoverings, adding the finishing touches to this beautiful facility. As a local company, it was such a privilege to contribute to (and transform) our beautiful Downtown Denver Skyline.
Specifically, the scope of our work included:
- Complete interior painting throughout the lobby, fitness center, stairwells, hallways, and offices.
- In addition to the walls/ceilings, we also painted the doors, trim, and sills.
- We hung wallcoverings throughout the lobby, fitness center, corridors, and all common areas.
- Outdoors, we painted the metals handrails and ADA ramp with high-performance products.
Special Product Note: Anti-Graffiti Coatings
In any urban environment, graffiti can be a real issue. We used a specialized anti-graffiti product for the lower 20 ft of this building, just as a preventative measure. Essentially, a clear-coat barrier prevents the paint from bonding/adhering to the surface, making it much easier to remove.
Painting a High-Traffic Apartment Complex
As one of the final trades present, our work continued as the apartments began to fill. In fact, the building was at 50% capacity by the time we were done.
On top of that, we had to work in the dense, downtown Denver environment. And did we mention that the Rockies’ baseball season was in full swing (literally)? Add throngs of fans during the home games to the mix.
This is where experience and project management really come into play.
- Communication is key! We worked closely with the General Contractor, ensuring peak efficiency during every step and stage.
- Our skilled, experienced team knows how to work in fast-paced environments, never sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
- We held weekly Toolbox Talks and monthly Summit Safety meetings to review any safety concerns or opportunities.
Please take a moment to review the photos we’ve shared, just to get a better sense of both the scope of work and the finished product. After all, the old cliche still rings true: a picture is worth a thousand words.
