As a commercial painting company here in Colorado, we specialize in fast, efficient, high-quality services. After all, in the commercial world especially, deadlines are of paramount importance, and particularly so when other trades are at work juggling their own tasks and timeline. Transformations and improvements are a coordinated effort where every component needs to work in concert.
We recently finished the interior painting portion of a TI (Tenant Improvement) remodel in Centennial, helping to update an existing structure before a new tenant moved in.
These projects are important, particularly when a commercial tenant moves out and a quick, coordinated refresh is needed to prepare the space for the new occupant. We were happy to put our services and painting experience to work!
Interior Painting in Inverness Business Park
Here’s a quick look at the improvements we were responsible for:
- Painting all drywall
- Painting bulkheads and soffits (typically used to hide ductwork)
- Painting hollow metal doors and frames
- Caulking
Because hardworking spaces need a hardworking paint, we used an eggshell sheen on the walls taken to a Level 4 finish. This provides a beautiful, fresh surface, but also one with a bit more durability for easy washing and maintenance down the road (both are key considerations for commercial spaces). Speaking of durability, we also primed the surfaces first, followed by two topcoats of Promar 200.
Our team used a scissor lift indoors as well, allowing us to work fast and efficiently. This isn’t common for this type of project, but we have the right team, training, and capabilities to make it happen.
Total Surface Preparation and Protection
Surface preparation is a huge part of any painting process, but so is environment preparation. In this case, we meticulously covered and protected surrounding surfaces to protect against overspray. We also coordinated our work to make sure the painting was complete before the cabinet installations and floor systems were added.
Safe, Experienced Commercial Painters
Our Summit safety-certified team held safety huddles every day, identifying and minimizing any potential risks. This kept everyone on the same page, with everyone’s well being and success top of mind.
All of these efforts led us to a safe, on-time, as-promised project completion. The surfaces look fantastic, and the space is more than ready for the new tenants. Mission accomplished!
