What You'll Do
The ideal candidate will be a key team member working alongside the owners, estimating team, operations manager, and customers. The primary function of the Foreman is to supervise and participate in all activities related to the completion of specific jobs. To be successful in this role, you must have a clear understanding of job-site safety, have a base-line knowledge of the products we use, and be diligent at documenting daily activities. You also must be able to efficiently manage a paint crew and all tasks involved in completing jobs, including:
- Arranging project site walk-throughs with customers prior to the start of a job.
- Developing a schedule and “game plan” to finish the job on time.
During a job there are opportunities to sell additional work to the customer. The Foreman is expected to sell and/ or take on additional work whenever an opportunity arises, provided they receive the required documentation and approval from the customer.
- The Foreman is responsible for the safety and performance of every person on their crew.
- The Foreman will monitor the attendance, appearance, language, and equipment usage of every person on their crew.
- Conduct Field Training in an appropriate, timely manner.
- Foreman should monitor his crew’s performance and make the necessary adjustments to bring the job in “Happy & Under”.
- Foreman is to keep written records of crew members attendance and make performance level evaluations, whether good or bad.
- Attend weekly Operation’s meetings (as scheduled).
- Keep a diligent an accurate account of time and project updates. Information is to be reported to the office immediately at the end of a job.
- See that company trucks are maintained and cleaned regularly.
- Order & maintain materials and equipment as needed with office approval.
- Manage customers’ questions and concerns on a daily basis. Report concerns and/or problems to Operations Manager immediately.

What You’ll Do
The perfect candidate should possess a minimum of three years of experience in estimating for HOA, Multi-Family, and commercial repaint projects and must be capable of reading blueprints.
- Conduct estimates for HOA, Multi-Family, and Commercial Projects using On-Screen Takeoff and other software’s and systems.
- Work closely and cultivate relationships with Property Managers and General Contractors during RFP Process.
- Assist Project Managers with pre-constructions services and project set up.
- Assist in preparation, review, and administration of Scopes of Work and material specifications.
What you Need for this Position
- Construction industry experience.
- Three years of business development in commercial real estate.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and responsibility for their work and actions.
- Strong analytic and organization skills.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Process driven.
- Ability to look at a potential project from a production standpoint.
- Excellent non-calculus-based math skills.
- Product, application, and process knowledge.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suites, specifically Excel.
- Active involvement in CAI, BOMA, AND AAMD is a plus.
