What You'll Do

  • Independently generate sales leads and leverage current customers
  • Initiate, expand and maintain strong networks and relationships with current and potential clients, Property Managers, HOA Board members and groups, and individuals to generate new and continuing business leads.
  • Identify, prospect and present to potential clients in the Painting platform.
  • Clever question asker, anticipates objections, handle stalls, and goes for the close
  • Participate on external organization committees and/or boards supporting the business development function while raising awareness of the Company within the industry.
  • Attendance and participate in company tradeshows, golf tournaments, and promotional events.
  • Actively engages in weekly sales meetings, shares lessons learned

  • Closing rates of 40% or more
  • Exceeding all sales goals and KPI’s

On-screen Takeoff, Smartsheet and Pipeline Deals are the 3 systems you will be utilizing on a daily basis to ensure bid accuracy and clear communication before, during and after the bid. Our promise to our people and customers is to Educate, Deliver and Protect.

What You Will Be Doing?

We are seeking an experienced project Estimator to join our fast-growing company. The ideal

candidate will have at least three years of experience estimating in HOA, Multi-Family and commercial repaint experience and ability to read blueprints.

  • Conduct estimates for HOA, Multi-Family and commercial projects using our systems and software.
  • Work with Property managers and General Contractors during the RFP process, follow-up and develop relationships.
  • Assist Project Managers with pre-construction services and project setup.

Assist in preparation, review and administration of Scope of Works and materials specifications

What You Need for this Position

  • Industry Experience: Experience in construction.
  • Three (3) years business development in commercial real estate.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and responsibility for their work and actions
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail orientated and process driven.
  • The ability to look at a potential project from a production standpoint.
  • Excellent non-calculus-based math skills
  • Product, Application, and process knowledge
  • Entry level blueprint reading and interpretation.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Active involvement in CAI, BOMA, AAMD is a plus.

Shaker Painting recently completed a full exterior trim replacement and paint of our five-story building, Broadway Junction, at 1165 Broadway, Denver CO.
